Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. The "OL" indicates an open lid. The lid must be shut in order for it to spin and drain. If the lid is shut and "OL" is displayed then it may have a faulty lid switch, faulty lid switch wiring or possibly a faulty control board if the lid switch and lid switch wiring is Okay.

The lid switch is located under the top of the washer. In order to gain access to the lid switch, the washer cabinet must be taken off. Before the washer cabinet can be tilted forwards and removed the dispenser hoses must be disconnected from the 3 port connector. To access the dispenser hoses you will need to remove the plastic cover located under the left side of the control panel. To remove the control panel; remove the screw located at the bottom front corner of each control panel end cap. I added an image below showing how to remove the cabinet NOTE: Disconnect the power cord before servicing your washer.

I added a YouTube video showing the basic instructions on how to access the lid switch Be sure to remove the small cover under the left side of the control panel and disconnect the three hoses before removing the cabinet.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Kenmore wahing machine model 110.92195110 stopped

A:

A washing machine is one of the most important household appliances due to the fact that it is just so convenient; it saves you time from having to go to a laundry mat and while you are doing other things around the house or just step out of the house you can wash a load all at the same time. So it can be a very big disappointment when the washer no longer works properly. I have taken the time to research on the Manage my Life website and have found a few links that you may be interested in viewing. While you are waiting for an expert to reply I have attached the links below.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having problems with the washer. If the control will not light up at all, the problem could be one of the control boards, touch panel, or wiring inside of the washer. The only checks I recommend you doing is checking the wiring connections in the console. To do this unplug the washer and open the console. Please see the image below on how to open the console. Once the console is opened, remove and replace the wire connectors one by one. While checking the wire connections look over the control board. If you happen to see, any burnt spots on the board, that is most likely the problem. After all of the connections have been checked you can close the console and plug the washer in. then check the operation. If the washer still does not light up, I recommend having a service technician diagnose the washer. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Depending on the condition of the washer, you may consider purchasing a new washer because due to the age some of the parts are no longer available. Please click on this link to view the washers we sell.

Please feel free to add more details if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
