Q:

Water leaks out of machine during rinse cycle 11091566200 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you're having this problem with the washer and I can understand your concern. First, with this washer, the water should drain before it starts spinning. If it's spinning while draining, the problem will probably be with the neutral drain system. A good check will be to set the water to the lowest setting and start the washer. It should agitate without the tub spinning. If this is ok, now make sure the lid is closed and set the timer to the spin cycle. It should drain the water out before the tub starts spinning. If the basket is spinning, the gearcase may need to be replaced but the brake and clutch assembly will also need to be checked. In either of these 2 cases, a technician will need to make the repair. I'm listing a link you can access for a video that shows how to remove the cabinet, so you can check to see if, any of the springs under the tub have come loose.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVF0h1MQdBE . With your washer, the control panel may have the 2 screws in the front instead of the back of the panel. Be sure to disconnect the power and close the water supply valves before removing the cabinet. I hope this will help you.
