Thank you so very much for your help. Now I hate to ask but I have another question I hope you may be able to help me with for the same washer. I can not fine any instructions online for this model washer on how to take it apart to replace the springs & if there would possibly be any other parts that I might need. Do I just remove the top of the washer?

Q:

Why did my Kenmore 110.91511100 washer stop spinning after I found a broken belt under the drum?

A:

The model 110.91511100 Kenmore washer you have is a direct drive machine that has no belt. It is possible the model number is incorrect but there are only two possibilities. It is a direct drive or it is a belt drive.

If it is a direct drive the image below contains the instructions on how to remove the cabinet and get access to the motor and coupling. Remember to unplug the power cord from the wall so no voltage is present while servicing.

After removing the cabinet you will be able to see what you're dealing with.

Any parts you need can be ordered from the following link: Sears PartsDirect .
