Q:

How do I get my washing machine agitator back on?

A:

Good morning... It's great that you've gotten so much use out of your washer. Because of it's age, it may be designed differently, in regards to your "dog assembly" consideration. I have located a link that will give more detail on your agitator being loose. Review this data and keep in mind that you should hear from an expert within the next two business days if not sooner. I hope this helps you and have a nice day.

Hi,

Thank you for your question, and I would like to answer the question this way.
The agitator you refer to is a single piece agitator that is not repairable. The whole agitator is the replacement for the part. You would need to go the SearsPartsDirect to order the part. I am having internet connection problems at the present time, so I a not able to link directly to the correct part.

Yes this agitator sits directly in the shaft splines.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please include more details in a reply to this entry below.
Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

Why did my Kenmore model 110.91510100 washer start shaking even though it is level?

A:

If the washer has been spinning okay and just started to shake then it is likely one of the suspension springs broke or one of the suspension pads has come out.

The first thing to do is to open the lid and notice how or if the tub is leaning to one side. If the tub is leaning of the side it is likely one of the three suspension springs has broken.

To check the spring you will have to remove the washer cabinet. The instructions to do this are in the image below. Remember to unplug the washer first.

There are three suspension springs and one counter weight spring located across from the motor.

Check this and if you need further assistance then submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.
