I understand that you are getting the error code F1 on your dryer. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. Alina, Thank you for your answer. We did unplug, etc., as suggested in the attachment in your post. I have noticed that the touchpad on my dryer will not allow cycle changes, etc. I am now wondering if we have a malfunctioning touchpad. I do not know. Please keep looking. This is perplexing. Thank you.

I recommend that you double check that model number and make sure that you have the correct electronic control board installed in the dryer. The part number of the control board for model 110.87571601 should be W10111606.

If the correct control board is installed, then you could have a bad replacement control board or another problem that is preventing the control board from working properly. On a few of the HE types of dryers, there has been an unusual issue that has caused some intermittent F01 error codes. A short in the moisture sensor wires has been known to cause this error code. I provided a wiring diagram for this dryer in the image below. You can unplug the dryer and access the control board. Unplug the moisture sensor wires from the control board and then reassemble the dryer. Power it back up and see if you still get the F01 error code. If not, then I recommend that you carefully check the moisture sensor wire harness for a short to the metal cabinet.

There is a possibility that you have a bad touchpad that is causing this problem. If the above steps don't help, you may need to try replacing that component.

I hope that these tips help. This may be a difficult failure to diagnose. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will try to assist you further.

Hello Michelle. Reply with the full model number of your dryer. If you are seeing the F1 code on an HE2 dryer, then you can try unplugging the dryer for 5 minutes. Plug it back in and see if the code clears and the dryer works properly. If not, then you may need to replace the main machine control board. If you reply with the full model number and additional details, we will try to give you some more specific troubleshooting help.

I posted an image below that shows the error codes for that dryer. I assume that you are seeing the F-01 code and that it will not clear. In that situation, you will need to replace the machine control board (part W10111606). Here is a direct link for that part: Electronic Control Board for Kenmore Dryer Model 110.87531700 . UNPLUG the dryer before installing that new control board. The image below shows how to access and replace that machine control board in your dryer. If you need more help, let us know.

The shipping bolts for your model of washer are available through the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number is 8540199. You will need to order 4 of those bolts (they cost about $4 apiece). You can reverse the procedure shown in the first image below to replace those shipping bolts in the back of the washer. These bolts will hold the washer tub stationary during shipment. Here is a link for the full owner's/installation manual for that washer in case you need it: Owner's Manual . (It may take a minute or two for this manual to download once you click the link.)

You may need to unplug the washer and remove the top panel to properly install those shipping bolts. Screws at the very back of the top panel secure it to the washer frame. Remove those screws and then pull the top panel back slightly then up and off of the washer. With the top panel off, you can better see the holes that the shipping bolts screw into. You can also move the outer tub around slightly so that you can get the bolts started in the holes that are in the back of that plastic outer tub.

The drain hose for this model of washer is part number W10114608. You can order that part from the Sears PartsDirect website at the same time that you order the shipping bolts. To replace that drain hose, you will need to unplug the washer and access the drain pump. The second image below shows how to remove the lower front access panel to get to the drain pump. That drain hose is attached to the drain pump with a spring clamp. Be prepared to catch residual water that will drain out of the pump once you remove that hose. You can drain the water into a shallow pan before removing that hose by using the procedure shown below to remove that clean-out filter in the pump.

The stacking kit for this laundry pair is part number 8572546. You can order that kit from the Sears PartsDirect website. The kit will come with instructions for installation. The kit has brackets that will secure the bottom back of the dryer to the top back portion of the washer. It also has other components for properly stacking the dryer on top of the washer.

Here is a link for the owner's/installation manual for the dryer in case you need it: Owner's Manual .

This information should help you complete the move of your washer and dryer. Note that the washer manual recommends that you have a service technician prepare the washer for transport (see that text at the bottom of the first image). If you are not completely confident that you can properly install the shipping bolts then you may want to have a service technician set up the washer for the move. Here is a link for the Sears Service website in case you need it: Sears Home Services .

If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and we will help you further.
