If the lights and display work but the dryer will not run the usual suspect on an electric dryer is the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is located behind the lower access panel on the blower exhast. It can be checked for continuity with a meter is one is available. A broken belt might also cause this problem. The 2nd image below may help you access the thermal fuse. If no meter is available then the thermal fuse can be bypassed. Let me know if you would like to know more about this.

I have a Kenmore elite H4 model 110.8586. The dryer runs turns blows out the vent but there is not heat on any of the settings. The element is not broken anywhere. Is there an internal fuse that could have blown. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
