A:

Dear Desirea: I have just replaced the door-latches on my electric dryer, H3. We tried to run the dryer last evening, and it wouldn't start. Inside the door, there is a piece of glass that rounded on the top, and flat across the bottome. The glass has a rubber-like gasket that surround this glass. Can I assume, that the glass MUST fit back into the door, that is between the interior metal door (with lots of screews in it) and the hard plastic-shaped (the same as the glass window or heat-protecter..?? If yes....is their some kind of internal sensor that would detect if the glass is in the correct place, or not..?? Would you suspect that when I get this glass installed correctly.....that the dryer will then run again..?? Gordon Miller

I got the glass inserted into the door correctly now. However....the dryer is still refusing to start. Could this be something as simple as unplugging the electrical supply, for several minutes....and then reconnecting it. I know that's what I have to do at times with our computer. Just checking to see if there any resemblance. We desperatley need our dryer back. Your response is is most awaited. Sincerely......Gordon Miller
