Question and Answers

Q:

After machine fills the tub with water then starts agitating the water starts to empty. 11082372110 Kenmore Electric washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

The only way water can drain out while the unit is in agitation is if the flapper in the pump is damaged. The flapper seals off the drain port of the pump while the washer is agitating. The flapper shifts open unblocking the drain port in the pump out mode. I recommend replacing the water pump.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

Manuals and info 110.82372110 and 110.86581100

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
Based upon the models provided, my records show them as made in 1987, but they could be older than that. Our system isn't as accurate on some of the older models. Due to the age of the units, there are no literature guides available for print or digital download. I don't have anything manual to offer for them and wasn't able to find any supporting documentation for the capacity or cu/ft. Sorry for the inconvenience, the age of 30 years or better is limiting our research.
Let us know if we can be of any further assistance and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Hello Kate. I am sorry to hear about this problem that you are having with your Kenmore Washer Model 110.82372110.

I assume that you already removed the agitator bolt. There is likely residue from detergent that is preventing the agitator from being pulled up and out of the washer. There is probably only one way to remove that agitator. That is by sheer force. A good yank or jerk on the agitator may break it free so that it can be removed.

If you cannot remove that lower part of the agitator, then I recommend that you check the drain pump. Unplug the washer before accessing internal components.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician examine and repair the washer, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services Washer Repair.
