Q:

My dryer has started to squeak loudly Sears Kenmore gas dryer

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when the dryer starts squeaking loudly.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Dryer model number 110-77455110.

There are a few items that may cause a dryer to squeak. I have the options below.

1. The belt #30 on the first picture below

2. The drum support rollers that the tub rides #21 on second pictue below.
(If either the belt or the rollers go bad, there is a maintenance kit that inculdes both items.  Tunes a dryer up real well and real quiet).

3.  The front seal and bearing key 44 on first picture below.

4.  The rear drum seal #27 on second picture

5.  Front ring bearing of the tub #54 on second picture

Thanks. I cannot find the "maintenance kit" referred to in item #2 on your website under parts. Do you have a part number for this kit?

Q:

My old Kenmore gas dryer, model # 110.77455110 has stopped tumbling but still heats. Why?

A:

In regards to your Kenmore gas dryer, Model # 110.77455110

Dryers require the drum to rotate to properly dry clothes. When foreign objects from pockets come out in dryer they can protrude in the tub causing the dryer not to spin.If the dryer appears to be heating yet not tumbling, remove the clothes and do not operate until the unit has been repaired.
