Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your dryer. Upon researching model number 11076972501; it sounds like the solenoids may be malfunctioning. The igniter wouldn’t glow if a thermostat or fuse is bad. The solenoids may need to be replaced.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Test Mode.
? Place the negative
(black) lead of your

Check the DC supply

Q:

What is the capacity of Kenmore dryer 11076972501? 11076972501 Kenmore Elite Dryer

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about your Kenmore Elite Dryer model 11076972501. This model has 7.5 cubic feet capacity.  Manufacturers recommend the dryer have twice the capacity of the washer. This is so there is sufficient room in the drum to circulate air about the clothes. It also is more cost effective. A dryer that is too small needs to run longer to dry the load. A dryer that is too large wastes energy heating all of the extra space in the drum. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.
