I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your dryer. Accessing the baffles is not difficult. First, unplug the dryer or turn the power off. Then pull the dryer out to access the screws along the top in the back. If you are tall, enough you can reach over the top. I have posted an image below showing the screws that have to be removed. Once the screws are removed push back on the top and lift it. Now you can see the drum. Turn the drum so that the screws for the baffle can be accessed. Have someone hold the baffle while you remove the screws. Then reverse the process to install the baffle. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Anne, Sorry for bothering you, but I cannot see any "box" below. I only see the Join this Conversation box below your reply. I tried this in Google Chrome with the same result. Very frustrating on my part. Could you copy and paste the file into a Word, or Excel doc. and send it to me? I know that this is a pain, and I appreciate your effort. Thanks John

Q:

How old are my Kenmore washer & dryer units?

A:

Needing to know how old your appliances are is great to know. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I took some time searching the model number you have provided and it seems to be incorrect. A suggest I have is to verify your model number and attach it to this thread so you can get a better answer from the experts. Hope this helps!

I know how important it is to have detailed information about the dryer in case repairs are ever needed. I am adding a link below in where you can view the owners manual for your dryer.
