To install the heating element in this Kenmore Electric Dryer 11076884800, you can follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the dryer to disconnect electrical power.
  2. Remove the back panel.
  3. The parts diagram of the components in that back of the dryer is shown in the image below. Remove the screw (KEY 2) that secures that heat reflector (KEY 1) to the heater box.
  4. With that heat reflector removed, you should then be able to remove the heating element.
  5. Transfer the wires from the old element to the new heating element.
  6. Install the new element and reassemble the dryer.

Here is a brief video that shows how to replace the element on a similar type of dryer: Dryer Heating Element Replacement . The element in your dryer is different than the one shown in that video but the basic procedure is the same.
