Thanks for contacting I am sorry you are having a problem with your dryer. When a gas dryer is running but the ignitor isn't glowing and it's not heating the most likely reason why is an open thermal fuse.

The thermal fuse is located behind the rear access panel on the blower housing. See the image below for help with this.

Remember to unplug the dryer first.

A gas dryer will run with an bad thermal fuse but it won't heat.

The thermal fuse can be checked two ways. The first is with a volt/ohm meter if you have access to one and are comfortable using it. Check for continuity/resistance across the fuse. If it is open then replace it.

If you don't have a meter or know how to use one there is another way the thermal fuse can be checked. With the dryer unplugged you can remove the two wires off the thermal fuse and join (jump) them together with a small insulated wire with two bare ends. Make a good connection and put a little electrical tape around the connections.

Don't let it touch anything metal and then with caution plug the dryer back in and see if it will heat. If it does then replace the 3392519 thermal fuse. Don't continue to use the dryer with the fuse bypassed.

If the ignitor is not glowing then the operating thermostat, hi-limit thermostat or radiant senor can also be the problem but the thermal fuse is the most likely.
