Question and Answers

My timer is broken 110.76433800

Thank you for your inquiry on your Kenmore Dryer, Model: 110.7643380. I’m so sorry to hear that the timer has broken and will be happy to see what we can find on the issue. On reviewing your model, it does look like the part has been discontinued with no alternate as you stated. Due to the age of the dryer it’s not looking like the manufacture has a schematic on the timer, which would allow us to see what the issue in the timer would be unfortunately. Due to the age of the dryer my best recommendation would be to Scrap the dryer and opt on getting a new one. Below i have included a link to our webpage on dryers, there are multiple sales going on every day on dryers. Also another alternative would be checking your local sears stores; each individual store usually has their own sales going on as well.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for choosing and have yourself a wonderful rest of your day.

How do I replace the belt on an old Kenmore dryer?

If you have not already ordered the belt, you can order it from the Sears PartsDirect website . The part number for the belt that you will need is 341241.

The following link of a previous answer describes the procedure for replacing the belt on a similar model of dryer:

How do I replace the belt on my Kenmore dryer?

NOTE: Be sure to unplug the dryer to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal dryer components.

Your dryer will be slightly different than the one described in the above link. Yours does not have the bottom service panel on the front of the dryer. You will need to loosen or remove the entire front panel to get the belt around the drum.

If you need more help with this repair, resubmit your question with additional details.
