Question and Answers

Q:

clothes not drying 11074852400 Kenmore Residential dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your dryer will not heat up.

If you find the glow bar igniter glowing and then fading off without burner ignition, the two solenoid coils mounted on top of the gas valve assembly will need to be replaced.

Q:

model 1104852400 is not drying clothes in the auto moister sensor 11074852400 Kenmore Residential dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dryer. Upon researching model 11074852400; the moisture sensor only runs with the moisture sensing feature. The timed dry just uses the timer and sets the unit to the heat setting you select. It could be the moisture sensor needs to be replaced.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Q:

My Series 80 washer is blowing cool air. I changed thermal fuse. Air warmed up clothes dried. Following day dryer blew cool again. 11074852400 Kenmore Residential dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dryer. Upon researching model11074852400; if the vent has lint build up it can affect the heating. With the buildup of lint it will restrict air flow. Once the air flow is restricted the dryer will build up more heat. If the unit builds up more heat, it can make the fuse blow out. Also any time replacing the fuse it is best to replace the thermostat as that could be affected as well. It would be best to clean out all the lint in the dryer to prevent restricted air flow.

If you have any further questions please re-post. Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.
