Question and Answers

Q:

Heating 11072994101 Kenmore Dryer

A:

Thank you for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

I am sorry to hear that your dryer is not drying the clothes, this could be caused by an issue within the burner assembly for this gas dryer.

Usually when a gas dryer is not drying the clothes, the burner is not igniting. This can be caused by a defective ignitor, or the valve coils not opening the gas valve for the gas to come in.

If there is flame ignition in the burner assembly, a thermostat could need replacement to regulate the temperature for proper drying.

If you are mechanically handy, you can test the ignitor and coils with a multimeter to see if they are good, if not, a technician would be recommended to assist with the diagnosis/repair of the dryer. If you would like to set up service, click here to be directed to Sears Home Services to schedule a technician.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
