Thank you for your question on the instructions for changing the igniter on the dryer.

You will first need to turn the gas off at the supply location behind the dryer.

Then unplug the power cord to the dryer.

Locate the seam between the upper front panel and the lower panel and slide in a putty knife type tool to depress the spring retainer on each side of the front panel and pull down on the panel.

Then you can lift off the front from the clip below at the base of the cabinet.

Locate the shut off valve or supply line gas coupling and side of the gas burner assembly and turn off the valve and loosen the fitting.

Locate and remove the screws that secure the burner assembly to the base of the dryer cabinet and remove.

Reach in and disconnect the two wires on the flame sensor on the side of the burner funnel.

You can then remove the burner assembly to get to the igniter and replace it if it is bad.
