11072870110 cubic feet capacity? "scronk-scronk" noise. Age? Worth fixing?

Finding out the cubic feet on your appliance can be a really great idea. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, a suggestion I have is to visit Sears Parts Direct website to set service with a Sears technician. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Without being there to hear the noise I would not be able to say with any certainty what is causing the noise. If the washer will agitate, drain water and spin, the noise is likely emitting from the gear case/transmission.

Your model washer is rated at 3 cu. ft. and it was manufactured in 1987. The washer is not worth repairing. If it's still washing, draining and spinning, I would continue using it until it dies then purchase a new washer.
