Thank you for submitting your question. If you're finding the glow bar igniter glowing red and then fading off without any burner ignition; replacing the solenoid coils on the gas valve will repair the ignition fault. If the burner ignites every time the glow bar glows, replacing the coils will not keep the burner on. The operating temperature/burner is controlled by the operating thermostat. If the operating thermostat was to stick closed, the high limit thermostat would trip open and break the voltage supply to the gas valve assembly and shut off the burner. The burner is supposed to cycle off once the drum reaches the operating temperature. If you have restricted venting system it can cause the burner to shut off before reaching the operating temperature. Make sure the dryer vent and the venting out to your home is clear. If the vents are clear, then some internal testing with an ohms/volt meter will need to take place. I hope this helps.
