I'm sorry to hear you are having problems getting your dryer to work. That can be very bad at any time. To answer your question you would need a need belt. The belt it what makes the drum move if the belt is broken the drum will not move it does not matter what cycle you put it on. When you are replacing the belt I recommend you also replace the pulley assembly the belt wraps around. The part numbers are 661570 for the belt and 279640 for the pulley. You would be looking at about $39.46 for both parts. You can complete your order on searpartsdirect.com.

Here is a link for a video that shows how to replace the radiant sensor on your type of Kenmore dryer: Gas Dryer Radiant Sensor Replacement . Be sure that you unplug the dryer and shut off the gas supply before accessing internal components. If you can remove the bottom front service panel and reach the flame sensor, then you may not have to remove the front panel and the drum to complete this repair.
