Q:

My electric dryer is not heating up properly 11069822800 Kenmore Residential dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your dryer is not working properly.

It sounds to me like you will need to check the heating element, thermostats, and thermo fuses to determine which is causing low or no heat.

Q:

Dryer door switch

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to access and replace the door switch, the control panel will have to be placed in the service position and then the screws securing the top towards the back of the top will need to be removed. See image below.

To release and place the control panel in the service position, slip a putty knife between the bottom of the control panel end caps and the top. Push the putty knife towards the back and pry upwards on the putty knife. See 3rd image below. The control panel will look different than yours but the procedure of releasing the clips are the same.

Once the top is off; locate the door switch harness connector and disconnect the harness connector. Remove the screws securing the door switch and remove it.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
