I can understand how important it is to have your dryer working properly. There are many possibilities why your dryer stopped heating. For example:

  • Electric dryer, one circuit breaker tripped.
  • Burned wire inside the dryer.
  • Bad thermostat in dryer.
  • Bad switch in motor.
  • Vent stopped up.
  • Bad element in electric dryer.
  • Bad temperature switch in dryer.

This will require testing to find the malfunctioning part. If you are comfortable in replacing parts yourself, you can go to Sears Parts Direct and order parts. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and properly repair your dryer if otherwise. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
