F40 error code on Kenmore Elite Oasis ST Dryer 110.68097701

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your dryer is not working properly. 

F-40 flashes if the communication between the
machine control and motor control is lost.

TEST #3b Blower Motor (Dual Motor
Model)
1. Access the motor control electronics. See
Accessing & Removing the Electronic
Assemblies, page 9.
2. Visually check the communication harness. See
figure 16, page 9. The communication harness is
a three-wire harness that connects between the
two electronic control assemblies. Make sure it is
fully inserted into both electronic controls.
? If the communication harness looks OK, go to
step 3.
3. Visually check the wire harnesses connected to
the motor control electronic assembly. Make sure
they are clean and fully inserted into the control.
? If the connections look OK, go to step 4.
4. Remove the MC2 blower motor electrical
connector from the blower motor electronic
control.
5. Measure the resistance between the following
terminals on the connector: pins 1 to 3, 1 to 5
and 3 to 5. The resistance should be between 55
and 65 ?.
? If the resistance looks OK, go to step 6.
? If the resistance is much greater than 65?, go
to step 6.
? If the resistance is much less than 55?,
replace the blower motor.
6. Visually check the wire harness connection at the
blower motor.
? If the connections look OK, check for
obstructions in the blower housing. Make sure
blower fan rotates freely.
? If no obstructions are found, replace the motor
control electronic assembly.

As stated in the first post, I have already tried test #3b. I have also performed test #3a on the motor with the following results: Main winding 3.2 - 3.3 ohms; Start winding 2.8 - 2.9 ohms. Seems a little higher than expected, but I wouldn't think enough to call it bad. I have looked over all the interconnecting wiring, and found nothing that looked bad. Again, the only thing I really noticed was the acrid odor (burnt) from in the Machine control electronics, but nothing looks burnt/melted/heated. It seems to come from the Motor relay (K1?) The only other thing I can mention is, when I try to do the diagnostic voltage check, I get the code Pr followed by two unrecognizable displays on the double digit display. It should display the line voltage if I am reading correctly. Any more help is appreciated.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Dryer model number 11068097701.

Here is the picture below.   I can't  tell the length.  I believe the part you need is either number 39 or 51.  Let you look and judge.   If it is key number 39 then you have to order all that is in the dotted box.  Key number 60 to get that tube.
