Q:

Dripping water 11068082700 Kenmore Elite Residential dryer

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Kenmore Dryer, Model: 11068082700. From reviewing the details on your model, from what you're describing it sounds like the water valve or waterline connection. I recommend pulling the unit out carefully to avoid floor damage and inspecting the water valve and waterline.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the dryer to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com, and have yourself a wonderful day.

Q:

Dryer heating and venting, but clothes not drying 11068082700 Kenmore Elite Residential dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help you. Upon researching model 11068082700 I found it is a front load unit. Being front load it can be a little difficult to remove all the lint from inside. The best thing to do is open the unit up and remove as much lint as you can. A little lint won't do to much but when it builds up in a tube it can constrict the air flow. That's going to be the best thing. If it still is taking a while It could be the setting it's on is not correct for the size of load. The only other thing I can see is the way the fan is laid out in this unit is not the same as most and in fact that could make this unit take a little longer to dry but still should dry.
