Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added the wiring diagram and also traced the start circuit and circled the key components connected in the start circuit.

Since you replaced the timer and it still won't start we can probably assume the timer is not defective. You asked about the "door clip" and I must assume you mean door switch. When the door is shut it must strike the door switch and activate and close the door switch or the dryer will not start. The most likely component failure is the "THERMAL FUSE" key#59 which is mounted on the blower wheel housing (key#44). I believe it you test the thermal fuse for continuity you will likely find it faulty. If the thermal fuse is ok, test the door switch for continuity. You can order and look up parts at Sears PartsDirect

I added a YouTube video showing how to test the thermal fuse. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing your dryer.

Thanks Joey. You nailed it and saved me big bucks. I just wish the diagrams that are uploaded to the site were in higher resolution. FortunateIy, had a parts diagram that clearly showed location of part key#59 (Thermal Fuse). Otherwise I would not have been able to figure it out.

Q:

What should I check when my Kenmore Series 80 electric dryer model 11066824690 runs but doesn't heat?

A:

From the checks you have already made it is most likely the thermal cutoff is your problem.

The 279816 thermal cutoff can be obtained from the following link: Sears PartsDirect .

If the thermal cutoff shows and open circuit then that is the most likely cause of your problem and I would suggest you replace it.
