Question and Answers

Q:

Heating Element 11064902200 Kenmore Dryer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dryer. Upon researching model 11064902200; you can unplug the dryer power cord and remove the heat element, thermostat, thermal fuse when the dryer is not hot. With the mentioned parts removed you can test the parts for continuity using a multi meter. The parts test should read continuity if the parts are ok, if one of the mentioned parts test reads no continuity then that part may need to be replaced. The mentioned parts work together to make sure that the dryer is successfully heated as needed so when any of the mentioned parts fail it will directly affect the heat.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

how do I tighten the belt? 11064902200 Kenmore Dryer

A:

Thank You for contacting ManageMyLife.com

I understand your frustration when the dryer doesn't tumble. After researching your model I show there can only be two possibilities why the belt is loose. Either the Idler is not keeping the belt tight or the belt is worn and stretched due to the constant heat and needs to be replaced. Because you have to take the dryer apart to replace these items I recommend replacing both at the same time. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.
