Replacing the door switch is a great do-it-yourself project.

You can get the 3406105 door switch at the following link: Door Switch for about $12 dollars.

The image below will show how to raise the top panel and remove the front panel to access the switch. Remember to unplug the dryer first.

I hope this information is helpful to you. You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.

I may need a few more details to give you a good answer to this problem.

The motor might be overheating. Will the dryer start right back up again or does it take 10-20 minutes?

Make sure the door is not popping open.

One thing you might try is to remove the front panel and drum and see if the motor is covered in lint. This might make it overheat and shut down. The instructions to do so are in the image below.

Remember to unplug the dryer first.

If the motor is covered in lint then it might overheat and shut down. You can clean the lint of by using a vacuum.

I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.

Q:

Can and where can a credit card get stuck in a Kenmore model 110.62512101 dryer?

A:

If the credit card is missing it most likely worked its way past the felt seals and is now sitting on the base of the dryer.

The image below will show you how to raise the top and remove the front panel to check for this. Remember to unplug the washer first.

Most likely after removing the front panel you will located the card.

I hope this information is helpful to you in resolving this problem.
