Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. The touch pad (8282540) for the control panel may have a stuck or shorted key. If the cycle signal key shorts out on the touch pad the signal will beep randomly or when it wants. I recommend checking the keypad operation and running the dryer through a diagnostic cycle to verify the issue. The second image below will assist you in testing the touch pad with an ohms/volt meter. If the touch pad test good, then the first image below will assist you with running the dryer through a diagnostic cycle. You can order any parts from our Sears Parts Direct web site. I hope this helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Without a complete model number, I am only able to provide you with general information. The Clean Filter light will continue to blink on the dryer until the motor is started. The failure of the motor to start could be caused by a bad door switch, a blown thermal limiter fuse, a bad drive motor, a wiring failure or a failed relay on the electronic control board. I recommend that you check the door switch first. Check to see if the drum light turns off when the door switch is pushed in. If not, then the door switch would normally need to be replaced. If the door switch checks out, there may be an issue with the thermal fuse needing to be replaced. I provided a link with more information below.

What is wrong with my Kenmore Elite model 110.60056991 dryer when it won't start and the clean lint light will not turn off?

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . I hope this helps.
