Question and Answers

Q:

I have a code F35 How can I fix? Model 11047799701 11047799701 Kenmore Elite Residential washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washer..

From the information you have provided above, The F35 error code indicates an analog pressure sensor error. The analog pressure sensor is the component that detects water level in the washer tub. This error can usually be cleared but it will occur again if the main control board still detects a problem with the signal from the analog pressure sensor. This error code can be caused by a problem with the air pressure tube between the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor. If you are able to
unplug the washer
and check this air pressure tube, you may be able to resolve this problem. The analog pressure sensor can be accessed by pulling off the top panel of your washer. Remove the screws at the very back of the top panel and then pull it back slightly and then up and off of the washer with the washer unplugged, check the connection of the air pressure tube to this component. Check the entire air tube down to its connection to the bottom of the washer tub. You will likely need to remove the back panel of the washer to check the entire air pressure tube. If you find a kink, tear, hose or loose connection in the air pressure tube, then this is the likely cause of your F35 error code. If the air pressure tube appears to be okay, then you will likely need to replace the analog pressure sensor. If the problem still exists after replacing this component, then the main electronic control board for the washer will need to be replaced. If you are not completely confident in your technical ability to safely access and check these components, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair the washer.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

Q:

f35 and SUDS error code. 110.47799701

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is the error codes for the washing machine.

Glad to help out.  I’m looking at your Kenmore Washer model number 110.47799701.

Let me see and tell you all the information the technical service manual says on the f35 and SUDS.

F35 = ANALOG PRESSURE SWITCH:
If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

POSSIBLE CAUSES/PROCEDURE:
1.  Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2.  Check if the airtrap is not blocked.
3.  Check if the hose is not blocked.

SuD = SUDS LOCK (OVERDOSE OF DETERGENT DETECTED DURING THE WASH CYCLE).
If suds are detected continuously by the pressure switch during the drain or spin phases, the washer will fill 4 liters of water and during 5 minutes the unit will rest without tumbling, the water will be drained and it will try to spin or drain again.

POSSIBLE CAUSES/PROCEDURES:

->  If too much detergent was used:
1.  Run through a RINSE/SPIN cycle.
2.  Run a NORMAL cycle without adding any detergent.

->  This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
1.  Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2.  Unplug the washer or disconnect the power.
3.  Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, and Central Control Unit.
4.  Check/Clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5.  Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6.  Check drain pump.
7.  Check the pressure switch.
8.  Verify Central Control Unit operation by running a diagnostic test or any cycle.
