Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting with your question about the F35 code for your Kenmore Elite washer model 11047791700. I will be happy to help you with this.

The F35 code means that an analog pressure sensor malfunction has been detected by the Central Control Unit. Possible causes are:

I continually get the code message F21 and Sud on each load of wash. I cannot even finish a load of clothes. 11047791700 Kenmore Elite Residential washer

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there are problems with an F21 code on the washer.
Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore model number 11047791700.

I will give you all the information it tells me on the F21 code:

F21 is Long Drain.
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, "F21" will be displayed, the water valves will turn off and the pump will stop running.  Press PAUSE/CANCEL to drain the machine.  The display will be cleared and the machine will turn off after a maximum of 8 minutes.

1.  Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.

2.  Check the water drain pipe make sure it is not clogged.

3.  Unplug washer or disconnect power.

4.  Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.

5.  Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.

6.  Plug in the washer or reconnect the power .

7.  If the above does not correct problem the go to step 8.

8.  Unplug washer or disconnect power

9.  Replace the pump.

If you have further questions please let me know.
Thanks for choosing Sears
