Q:

HE5t model # 110.47761800 (Sub & F35 Error) 11047761800 Kenmore Elite Residential washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer is not working properly.

F35-

If this failure is displayed, the Central Control Unit has detected a malfunction of the analog pressure sensor.

Possible Causes/Procedure
Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly and without holes  or damage.
Check if the airtrap is not blocked.
Check if the hose is not blocked.

Sud:
If suds are detected continuously by the pressure switch during the drain or spin phases, the washer will ? ll 4 liters of water and during 5 minutes the unit will rest without tumbling, the water will be drained and it will try
to spin or drain again.

Possible Causes/Procedure
If too much detergent was used:
Run through a RINSE/SPIN cycle.
Run a NORMAL cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch,
and Central Control Unit (CCU).
Check/clean drain pump ? lter of foreign objects.
Plug in washer or reconnect power.
Check drain pump.
Check the pressure switch.
Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.

If the pressure switch is new and the hose and air dome are okay then the control may be seeing a false code.

I recommend going through this diagnostic test to see where your unit fails. If it fails in the steam C:01 then the steam control board will need to be replaced.

Starting Diagnostic Test Only
Execute this procedure with an empty drum. All of the steps
below must be done in sequence in order to reach the Diagnostic
test. This executes the automatic test only.
Close the door.
Push power.
Select the “Drain and Spin” program.
Deselect the rinse option (for Kenmore only).
Select “No spin”.
Push PREWASH or STEAM TREAT or DEEP CLEAN button
(depending on your model) four times within ? ve seconds”.
The automated test program is started (not possible to skip
steps).
To cancel the test program press the “Stop” button.

The troubleshooting provided in that link for a previous answer in the above response may help. If the control does not work properly after unplugging the washer for a few minutes and then plugging it back in, then you could have a component failure.

Press in firmly on the washer door and see if you can get the washer to start. A problem with the door switch could be preventing the washer from starting.

I provided a diagnostic test in the first image below that you can use to further test the washer. You may be able to start this test and recover the saved error codes. I provided the explanation of the error codes in the pages provided below. I also provided the troubleshooting steps from the tech sheet along with the wiring diagram in the second image. You can use this information to check for wiring connection problems and other failures that could be preventing the washer from starting. Be sure that you unplug the washer before accessing internal components.

The final two images provided below show how to remove the top panel and the bottom front access panel so that you can access components in the washer.

This information is based on Kenmore HE5t model 110.47761800. The model number that you submitted in your question is actually a part number for the owner's manual. The above model uses that owner's manual. Several other models are covered by that manual. If you need more help, reply with additional details and the full model number of your HE5t washer.

The door seal gasket (bellows) on this washer is not that easy to replace. I provided the procedure for replacing this component in the images below. Your washer will look slightly different than the one shown below but the basic procedure is the same. The procedure makes the process look easy. It can be difficult to get the bellows properly installed. The third image below shows tips on properly installing the new bellows. Carefully examine the procedures below before attempting this repair yourself. To access the bellows, you will need to remove the top panel, console and front panel. Be sure that you unplug the washer before accessing internal components. If you need more help, let us know.

You can order a new bellows (part number 8182119) from the Sears PartsDirect website.
