Thank you for your response! I did get the F06 error last night once, but all day today it has been giving me F07... I was hoping to find out if this is a different issue or something similar? I searched and did not find anything on F07. The link you provided is helpful for the F06 code, thanks again!

A:

The trip may have jiggled a wire or harness loose on the motor control.

The F06 and F07 codes both refer to problems with the motor control.

You can first access the motor control and pull-push-jiggle and wiggle the harness to the motor control.

This would be a good start. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.

Well, my husband was taking off that front, bottom panel to take a look, but he also took off the back panel just to look at what was back there- and there is a spring just laying in the bottom of the back panel, not attached to anything at all. I think it should be attached to something, otherwise where did it come from? I have some pictures to attach, I hope you can tell what it is and where it was laying when we found it. Thanks again for any help!!!

The spring is a 8182814 suspension spring. There are two and the basket hangs from them.. Raise the top, unplug the washer first, and you should still see one supporting the tub.

Thank you so much! We looked at the spring that was already attached and that showed us how to attach the one that had fallen. I think that was the problem! I just finished a complete wash cycle with no stop and no error code! Yay! Thanks again, I really appreciate your help!

Q:

How can I mount leveling feet to my Kenmore Elite HE4 washer with the optional pedestal removed?

A:

If you do not have the leveling legs that came with your washer, you may need to order new ones if the leveling legs from your pedestal do not fit the washer. The part number for the leveling legs is 8181636. You can order this part from the Sears PartsDirect website www.searspartsdirect.com .

If you have your installation instructions for your pedestal, use it as a guide to uninstall your pedestal. I included sections of the installation guide from one type of pedestal for this washer below. You may be able to use these instructions if you do not have your installation instructions.

After you remove the pedestal, install the leveling legs on your washer. Follow the steps in the third image below to properly level the washer. Proper leveling of the washer with all 4 feet firmly on the floor will prevent this washer from vibrating.
