Yes, you will need a moving kit to secure the tumbler of the washer to prevent damage while in shipment. The part number is 285955 & comes with instructions. I have also provided some images that may help you locate the shipping bolts location. Please click on the image below.

From the description you give most likely the door latch assembly has failed.

The click would indicate the control is trying to lock the door but is failing.

Most likely you will have to replace the 8182634 door latch. This can be done as a do-it-yourself if you wish to give it a try. The image below will help you with this.
