Q:

Third try - noisy when spinning. 11044936201 Kenmore Elite Automatic washer horizontal axis

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11044936201; if the shock absorbers are out you will have more movement or vibration in the tub. If the bearing is out it will make a grinding, growling or jet engine like sound. When the unit is off, turn the tub by hand and listen for any noise. If the bearing is going out the tub is usually harder to turn. Appliances come with a one year manufacture warranty. The owner’s manual indicates that there is some limited warranty’s. It’s on page 3 of the manual. Click here for owner’s manual.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your washer. This intermittent problem could be caused by a loose connection between the user interface control board and the main control board. I recommend unplugging the washer and removing the top washer panel. Screws at the very back of the top panel secure it to the washer frame. Remove these screws and then pull the top panel back slightly then up and off of the washer. Check the wire harness connection between the user interface control board and the main control board. If the connection is secure, then you will likely need to replace the user interface control board to correct this problem. NOTE: Be aware that not all options are available for every cycle. If you replace the user interface control board and still have the same problem, then you would likely need to replace the main control board as well. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
