Q:

Water not completely shutting off....slow stream of water into drum. 11044921302 Kenmore Residential washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

I would recommend replacing the water inlet valve. The solenoid’s on those valves slow down, and wears out over time. So it’s should be one or both of the valves that isn’t shutting all the way. Inlet valve part number for this model is 8181694.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

wash machine issue

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the washer is not draining or if there is a lot of suds, F2 and or Suds will display. During the Drain Routine, the water level is checked continuously. Normal drain will occur until the pressure switch senses no water in the wash tub and there is no foam (suds). The drain pump will operate an additional 15 seconds after the pressure switch reports no water or foam.

If the washer is draining, the pressure switch is likely sticking or the air tube connected between the pressure switch and the bottom of the tub could be restricted. The pressure switch is located under the top and mounted on the right side panel near the top.

You can look up and order parts for your Kenmore washer model number 110.44921302 at Searspartsdirect.com

The pressure switch part number is W10514214 for Kenmore washer model 110.44921302

The top is fastened by a couple of screws along the back of the top. Remove the screws and then slide the top back about an inch and then it can lifted up and off. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I added a couple of images below to reference with information about the F02.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

thank you for the timely reply. the washer ran fine yesterday for three loads. i'm wondering if on a previous load one of the kids over-filled with soap...(they tend to do that). i will keep an eye on it and check pressure switch if it acts up again.
