I can understand how important it is to have your washer working properly. There are several components that will cause this to happen. The pump could have failed, the pressure switch is not communicating, etc. The images below will provide the troubleshooting, error codes, and wiring diagram for the washer. You will need to test the components listed in order to find the problem. For this you will need an ohm/volt meter and you will be looking for continuity of 120 volts. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

The diagrams provided for the diagnosis will be of assistance. Once they are viewed, they are too small to see the information. Is a larger version available?

Q:

Why does my washer stop after the wash cycle? 11044182400 Kenmore Compact washer

A:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife.  I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

On your washer the first problem could be the cause of the second problem.  The pressure switch controls the operation of the washer.  First it needs to fill to full and the pressure switch will close the motor run contacts for the motor to operate.

I would check the water valve strainer screens located where the water hoses hook to the washer.  The screens could be dirty.  I would further check the drain hose and make sure it is not pushed too far into the drain stand pipe.  Up to 6 inches is enough but more could cause the washer to siphon the water inside into the drain pipe.   If these things check Ok . You would need to start measuring the pressure switch for normal operation.

If you would like it, a technician could make the repair on your appliance, if you call   1-888-266-6317.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.
