Question and Answers

Q:

brown water when filling 11029882891 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11029882891; brown water filling the washer can be caused by rust in certain parts of the pipes  that bring water to your washer, when the rust parts release rust into the water it mixes creating a brown color water. It could also be that the water is getting mixed with dirt at some pint before it reaches your washer.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

A:

Remove the two screws on the corner of the console. Some models used clips which were released by a putty knife. Raise the console. It is hinged. Once the console is raised remove the two heavy chrome clips. The entire cabinet can then be pulled off. The 2nd image above shows this. Let me know if you can not see the image and I will try a plan B.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The reason why your washer is shaking violently now and not before is because you re-installed the shipping pins through the skate plate and base. The pins should have been left lying in the cups. Remove the shipping cotter/hairpins and let the shipping pins fall back into the cups and your washer won't shake violently.
