Carlos- that electronic board is for a dryer- I have the same problem, and many sites seem to point toward the load sensing switch, but I have not tried it out yet.

Q:

Using the energyguide what is the maximum and minimum amount of water used during a wash cycle? 11029822801 Kenmore Residential washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

Your washer will hold approximately 20 gallons of water during each fill with a high water level selected. Depending upon the water level selected and the clothes in the washer the water fill varies from 14.5 to 20 gallons per fill.

Depending upon the cycle and options selected the amount of water used in a complete cycle could be as little as 60 gallons to as much as 120 gallons for each load of clothes. The 120 gallon figure would be with the prewash and extra rinse options selected.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
