Q:

kenmore washer mod 110-29622800

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears, I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washing machine.’

From the information provided above, I have looked over you model and it looks to me like you may have a bad water level switch. The switch isn’t sending the signal to the washer letting it know it’s filling so the washer will keep filling until the switch tells it to stop. A faulty switch will allow the water to keep filling and eventually overflow. I have located the water level switch for you, which is part number W10337781. By getting the switch replaced it should fix the issue with over filling.

I hope you found this information helpful. Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11029622800; you could replace just the seals. I found some videos on replacing the gear case. They should help with replacing just the seals. You might have to go through a couple as the washer can look a little different but the concept is the same. Click here for videos.

Q:

Changing start knob on washing machine 110-29622800

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

In order to replace the knob, you will need to open the control panel to gain access behind the timer. There are 2 screws on the rear of the panel that hold it in place. Once the screws are removed you will take a plastic putty knife to the front corners. Once the control is open you will be able to the timer that the knob attaches to. The timer has a small pin that you will need to gently pull from behind the timer (see picture) so that the knob is released. Also remember that the middle pin has to be pushed back in again until it snaps, otherwise the knob will not lock well into place.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact Sears for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
