Q:

My Washer motor makes a clicking noise when it starts high speed spin. 11028902790

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your washer and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 11028902790 and from your description I would suspect that motor coupler item 13 may be the issue. Sometimes the coupler that joins the motor and the gearcase fails and will make a clicking sound. Here is a link that may help with the repair. I have included a link to our Parts Direct page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for the reply. However, when I changed the motor I also changed the coupler with a new one. The sound is generated from the motor itself.
