Jame R. Thanks - not sure what else to provide, but the model number shows 28322700 - though this might imply that it has a 110. before it making it 11028322700. I remember that there use to be lint collectors on the middle/top where the wash/rinse water would be sent through and the link filtered out as the water returned into the wash tub. Is there a similar thing in this washer and it is just not obvious of how to clean it? Brion

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Your Kenmore 300 series washer does not have a lint filter nor can one be installed.

Linting can be caused by:

  • Improper sorting (separate lint givers from lint takers)
  • Incorrect amount of detergents
  • Over agitating (too long of a wash cycle)
  • Overloading
  • Not enough water

I added an image below with additional information and causes of linting.
