Question and Answers

Q:

washer will not spin water out 11027892791 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer does not spin all the water out. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found that if your washer is not pumping out the water at all then you may need to check your drain pump. If your washer drains well, but doesn’t spin all the water out of clothes then I recommend checking the motor control board. I did locate a video that will assist you in testing your lid switch to see if that is the cause of your washer  not spinning all the water out. Click here for video. Your washer is from the year of 1997. Yes it it has lasted more than 10 years your unit is worth keeping. The lid switch is not that expensive compared to a complete unit.

Let me know if the video helps and you are able to test the switch.

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.
