Hi,

Thank you for your question and for letting me assist you with your repair.

Is the motor coming on wash or spin, because it sounds like the is a disconnect at the motor? Double check the connectors at the motor and make sure all the wires are pushed into the plastic connectors all the way in. The blue wire is often the one that is loose in the connector.
Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts

You are going to need a multimeter and check blue wire to the white wire at the wash switch the pressure switch and the motor.
If this is the motor not running, it is a very hard problem to check, but the blue wire starts the motor through the timer and wash action switch.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please include more details in a reply to this entry below.
Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for submitting your question. Due to replacing the lid switch and the motor coupling, I believe your issue is going to be with the transmission (gearcase) for the washer. If it was the clutch you'd be able to hear is clunking and giving out. Due to the price of the transmission and the age of the washer, it may be more cost effective to purchase a new unit. If you choose proceed with the repair the part number for the transmission is 3360629R. You can order it from our Sears Parts Direct web site. I hope this information helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance with this repair. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
