Question and Answers

Q:

My washer will not start the spin cycle in any load option on the dial, my washer is full of water and I can't get it drain. What part/s do I need to replace? 11026722690 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Kenmore washer.

I can understand the frustration of your washer not functioning properly, after researching model number 110.26722690. First I would suggest checking the drain hose and the drain pump to see if they are any debris caught or clogs preventing the washer to drain and spin out. If you don’t see any clogs than the next part you may want to replace will be the lid switch. if the lid switch is bad it won’t allow the washer to go into spin cycle and drain the water. The part number for the lid switch is 3949238.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business, have a great day.

*Safety disclaimer before you try and repair the unit make sure the power supply is disconnected. There may be sharp parts to the unit that can cause injury to you if not careful. Q:

I have a Kenmore washer the tub is leaning forward , and when it spins it wobbles. 110.26722690

A:

Thank You for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com. I do apologize for the delay in answering your question.

Based on the information you have provided it sounds like one or more of your suspension springs have broke. These springs (six  total) put tension on the tub base and work like shocks on a car. I would recomend replacing all of the springs due to the age of this model. Part numbers are W10250667 and 63907. You will need to order 3 of each.

If you need further assistance, please resubmit your question with additional details. Thanks for visiting SearsPartsDirect.com

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your washer. Normally this type of problem is caused by the water level switch. The water level switch has a small hose connected to it that runs down to the air dome located on the lower side of the outer tub. As the water level rises the air pressure in the hose will cause the diaphragm in the water level switch to trip a set of electrical contacts that stop the water from filling once it reached the desired level. So, you could have a faulty water level switch, pressure hose or damaged air dome. If the pressure hose and air dome check good I recommend replacing the water level switch. Water could also overfill if the water inlet valve hangs up. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
