Q:

kenmore 110.26432502 Won't spin clothes dry

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern with your Kenmore washer model 110.26432502.

I do not have enough details to know if it will spin any at all with and without a load. Also, will it agitate? If it will not agitate or spin and only drains, the motor coupler is likely broken.

If the basket will spin without a load but not spin fast enough with a load, the clutch assembly is likely worn and will need to be replaced.

If it does need a clutch assembly part #285785, the washer cabinet will need to be taken off the base and the agitator, drain pump, motor, and gear case will all have to come off to access and replace the clutch assembly. The clutch assembly is mounted on top of the gear case. The washer will also have to be tilted back some in order to slide the gear case out.  I added an image below to reference the procedures. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician.  If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.
