Question and Answers

Q:

I replaced the pump to my washer, when I went to restart it, the washer filled with water then stopped 11025864400

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your washer. Upon researching 11025864400; it sounds like an issue with the lid switch. You could check it for continuity. IF the lid switch is ok then it could be the timer or the water valve.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

It's not abnormal to see a small spot of oil lying under the washer. A small amount of oil leaking can appear to be a lot of oil especially if the washer is sitting on a concrete floor. My own washer shows signs of leaking some oil but it's not enough to be concerned about. The transmission will not fail if it leaks a small amount of oil. There is small vent hole on top of the gear case cover that can vent oil and it can also leak out the vent hole if the washer is laid on its back too.

I added a link below to a previous answer that will have a video showing how to replace the clutch. The video will show you how to remove the gear case/transmission.

The gear case/transmission # 3360629 for model 110.24934200 can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

My Kenmore washer #110.25864400 has a weak clutch which affects the spin cycle. How can this be replaced

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Hi Maritza,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

This is most likely an issue with the base or suspension components. Here is a video that demonstrates gaining access to these parts; Video . Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts. The washer in this video may not look exactly like yours but the procedure is basically the same.

This is a labor intense do-it-yourself project and this issue is difficult to diagnose. I highly recommend letting a service technician take a look at your washer.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your Kenmore model number 110.25864400 washer .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please reply to this post.
