Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the drain hose. If the hose has a hole in it, I recommend calling the parts department and have them exchange it for you. If the hose is leaking at the connection at the washer, you can try a different style clamp on the hose. The original hose is a spring clamp that you cannot tighten if the hose leaks. I recommend using a worm clamp to secure the hose. This type of clamp can be bought at any hardware store. Just bring the drain hose in with you so you know what size to get. Once you have the clamp slip the clamp on the hose. Then push the hose onto the back of the washer. After you have the hose on tighten the clamp with a screwdriver. (Not too tight just tight enough to seal the hose.) Then fill the washer and check for leaks.

I hope this helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

What will cause my Kenmore washer model 11024932201 not to spin or agitate?

A:

By your question, I am not sure if the motor is running or not. The most common question asked is the motor is running but the washer will not spin or agitate. A broken motor coupler causes this complaint. I have provided the instructions below on how to replace the motor coupler. Your console may be held down with screws instead of the clips pictured. You will need to remove the end caps 15 and 8 to access the screws. 15 and 8 are the key numbers of the image below. Please pay attention to the reassembly of the cabinet on image number two lower right hand side. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question with more detail.
