I can understand how important it is to have your washer working properly. There are several components that will cause the washer to stop spinning. The most common part is the lid switch. Open the lid & check the lid switch, you should hear the lid switch clicking as you open & close the lid. Be sure the lid switch plunger is not broken or missing. Other possibilities are; timer, motor, clutch, transmission, drive block or wiring harness.

Please resubmit your question with more details. Does the washer drain the water out? Is the motor humming or not running at all? Does the motor spin but the basket does not? Will the washer agitate? Thank you for using Manage My Life.
