Question and Answers

Q:

Capacity of my washer and dryer 41793042203 Kenmore Dryer

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about your Kenmore washer and dryers. I will be happy to help you with the capacity of the machines.

The first model number you listed is Kenmore dryer model 41793042203. This dryer has 5.7 cubic feet capacity.

Kenmore washer model 11024922202 has 3.2 cubic feet of capacity.

The third model number you provided, 110649022200 is not a valid number. There is one too many numbers. The closest model numbers I could find were 11064902200 and 11964922200. I looked them both up for you. They both have 7.0 cubic feet of capacity. If neither of these model numbers is correct, please resubmit your question with the correct model number. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

Q:

top loading washing machine (Kenmore) 110.24922202

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer will not drain or spin.

If your washer will fill and agitate and then does nothing else, it is most likely due to a faulty lid switch. If you hear the motor running but the washer is not draining, this is most likely a broken motor coupler.

The instructions I have attached have information on how to bypass to lid switch to see if that is the part you need to replace.

You can also visit searpartsdirect.com for parts, diagrams, and repair information.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

Q:

water level switch 11024922202 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when needing to replace the water level switch and hose on your Washer. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found instructions that will assit you in your repair.
1. Disconnect the power to the washer.
2. Pull on the knob that controls the water level and remove it.
3. Remove the 2 screws on the bottom of the control panel.
4. Give the front portion of the control panel a small yank and pull it forward, around and upward. (It is hinged on the top, so it swings out)
5. Now you have access to the water level switch.
6. Press the clip and turn the switch a quarter of a turn and it will come off the panel.
7. Pull the wire connected to the switch and remove it.
8. Pull the air tube connected to the switch and remove it.
9. Use the new water level switch and reverse the process.

Let me know if this helps. Thank you for your question. Have a great day.
