Q:

washer fills but does not spin 110 24872300

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11024872300;  I have posted a link of the of videos that can help you access and replace the lid switch to view the link click here.  To bypass the lid switch once you have access to the switch, the technician will normally put in jumper wire into the lid switch connection in the connector that connects to the controls. The connector usually has 2 wires that connect to it .Bridge the 2 wires by putting in the bare ends of a jumper wire into the connector. The washer lid switch is normally bypassed this way to determine if the switch is the problem. The machine should not be used when bypassing the switch this is just a process that technicians use to find out if the switch is at fault.  The process described is a process that our technician would normally go thru and should be performed by a certified technician if you are not sure of how perform this test.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.
